Worship

We gather to worship and praise the living God!

Worship is central to the life of our church family. Our services include acts of praise, prayer, preaching, fellowship, and response to God’s Word. People of all ages have a place to participate in worship, where we connect with God, with one another, and prepare to connect with God’s world.

HOLY COMMUNION

The Sacrament of Holy Communion is offered in all services on the first Sunday of each month*.

The Sacrament of Holy Communion in the United Methodist Church is open to everyone. You do not have to be a member of the United Methodist Church or this local congregation. All are invited to participate in this Sacrament and receive the grace God has available for you.

*There are rare occations in which Holy Communion is shared together on a varying Sunday of the month.

What can I expect?

How long is a service at Peck’s Memorial?

In total, a Peck’s Memorial service is about 60 minutes in length. Services begin with a musical prelude and a time of worship through song - hymnals are provided and song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of service is complete, our pastor will share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

What’s the culture like at Peck’s Memorial?

Sunday’s at Peck’s are casual and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcome as part of our family.

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Peck’s Memorial United Methodist Church a great one!
